Taurus 2025 Horoscope

April 19

Sun ♈︎ Enters Taurus ♉︎, 8:56 00’00

Mars ♌︎ Trine Neptune ♈︎, 23:11 00’43

Bringing a harmonious flow between collective energy and the working body. This is a great transit for making art, spiritual activation, dancing to music, getting embodied doing something fantastical. This transit envisions how we may take action around our ideals, and opens us up to experiencing compassion.

April 20

Venus ♓︎ Sextile Uranus ♉︎, 18:39 25’45

Both of today’s transits offer the opportunity to relate to others in a new way, to invite excitement and spontaneous energy into your relationships, and to accelerate your creative mind. It is an energy that must be acted upon to be made the most of, but choosing self-liberating love is well supported.

The alignment of these planets to the nodal axis implies a fatefulness to the events of this moment, and that they will be part of the bigger story the nodes are telling in your chart, and how you find harmony with others within that.

Mercury ♈︎ Sextile Pluto ♒︎, 22:29 03’46

And while Venus and Uranus bring a new dynamic to your relational and social world, Mercury Sextile Pluto gives the potential to go deeper and be investigative around these experiences. The mind is empowered by the unconscious depths, and we may find something stirred by the conversations around this time.

April 21

Sun ♉︎ Square Mars ♌︎, 02:15 01’12

Your ego is likely to feel challenged by the events of this transit. You may find you are rushing to defend yourself over accusations, or roiling after being called-out for embarrassing yourself. You may feel you are being provoked to fight, to defend your honour with your anger. Mars in Leo asks the question: what is the honourable thing to do? What role does it play in motivating your actions?

This transit overlaps with the third and final hit of the Mars/Pluto opposition, and the immense power struggle it represents, so it is worth acting with a heightened awareness of how we are unconsciously motivated by our deepest fears throughout this week.

April 23

Sun ♉︎ Square Pluto ♒︎, 17:49 03’47

You may feel a growing awareness of your unconscious drives, and their power over you. How your trauma and your adopted coping mechanisms influence your sense of identity will play out and become partially illuminated to you. This can be quite a triggering and intense time, especially given Mars’ presence in this ongoing T-square. However, it also has potential to be really invigorating and challenging in a way that is extremely productive for your sense of self.

April 25

Venus ♓︎ Conjunct Saturn ♓︎, 00:05 27’13

Amidst the pressurised and unsettling energy of this T-square, Venus makes its final pass of three over Saturn. Expect questions about the sustainability of your relationships to come up — be they romantic, platonic, financial — and a reality check on how your values — what is just, fair, righteous — are aligning with your daily practice. Can you put your values before your own comfort?

As this is the final occurrence of this transit in Pisces, this may be a time where the consequences of how sustainable you’ve been in relationship to others is felt, and meaningfully integrated into the structure of your life.

April 27

Mars ♌︎ Opposite Pluto ♒︎, 01:24 03’48

The third peak of this many month-long period occurs alongside the New Moon. This configuration represents the fight for survival against the oppressive shadow of your own most repressed fears. This is a power struggle, where you may feel directly confronted by the unconscious motivations and triggers for your anger and defensiveness.

What was brought up for you with Mars over the retrograde — how to use our anger, the purpose of conflict, what does it mean to be brave? — will be tested here.

New Moon Taurus ♉︎ 20:31 07’47

The presence of the Sun and Moon as the focal planets of this T-square puts an intensity on your wants and needs, your conscious and unconscious desires, which are aligned under this conjunction.

Taurus craves harmonious sensory experiences of all kinds, safety, peace, and does not like to be rushed or pressured in any way to change; it knows what it needs through its body, and until the body is ready it protests. To quote astrologer Britten Larue: ‘Taurus, your pace is sacred’. While This New Moon comes at a highly volatile moment, this is an invitation to attune to your body and listen to that tender Taurian longing for soft things, embodied sex, sweet treats and hearty home cooking.

Taurus also has a reputation for being reluctant to change its ways, and when your body’s defence mechanisms are tested as they are being tested, there’ll be a compulsion to double down on what you know instead of being receptive to what your body is telling you on a sensory level. The tension of the opposition will be released through the beginning of this new lunar cycle, and how you respond — in accordance with your body or not — will play out over the next two weeks until the Full Moon.

April 30

Venus ♓︎ Enters Aries ♈︎, 18:16 00’00

May 2

Venus ♈︎ Conjunct Neptune ♈︎, 17:52 01’09

This transit represents a loosening of boundaries in your relationships, a time of finding grace and forgiveness, and access to spiritual energy within the collective. You may transmute this into something creative, or to find healing in letting go of something bitter you’re holding on to.

Alternatively, this transit may also have you viewing your relationships through rose tinted glass and incline you to be more permeable and permissible of things that would usually cross a line. This is usually a very wishy-washy and existential transit, but both these planets in Aries suggest this may be felt quite suddenly, or have an element of risk involved, or make you try something out for yourself.

May 5

Mercury ♈︎ Sextile Jupiter ♊︎, 18:19 22’20

Mercury is doubly accelerated by this transit, and today you may find yourself quick in conversation, witty, and generally busier. Gossip has a tendency to spread fast under this transit, so be mindful of what you say to who, and how you say it. This transit also has potential for writing or brainstorming big-picture ideas and plans.

May 6

Venus ♈︎ Sextile Pluto ♒︎, 22:13 03’49

As with last time this transit occurred while Venus was in Rx, this transit offers an opportunity to go deeper into what is unconscious within our relationships and explore their roots. It introduces a question, what power does our fear hold over our values?

May 10

Mercury ♈︎ Enters Taurus ♉︎, 13:16 00’00

May 12

Full Moon in Scorpio ♏︎, 17:56 22’13

The Moon is detriment in Scorpio, meaning it is uncomfortable there. For although it is a deeply feeling sign, Scorpio is too focused and intense for the Moon’s tidal and enigmatic nature to be at ease. When the body is trusted as the compass toward your needs, it gradually relaxes and reveals all the tension it has stored. Under this transit you may become more aware of the emotional energy trapped in the body. While what emerges from the depths may seem scary, maybe more than what feels comfortable, it is what is meant to be illuminated under this opposition.

Only when the body is completely safe, can it process the lingering harm and heaviness in the heart from old wounds. The boundary of this safety is likely to feel challenged, and there may feel a need to withdraw, or to conceal your emotions and vulnerability. Before you put up the walls get curious about what safety means to you, and what you need to feel safe? If you can get that - with a human partner, with an animal, with a cuddly toy - this could be a powerful time to process and come to a place of trust in the Self and greater resilience.

The events under this Full Moon may be connected - literally or thematically - to the New Moon back on November 1st 2024.

Mercury ♉︎ Square Pluto ♒︎, 18:14 03’48

In tandem with this energy, today may also bring an intensity to your conversations, or feel somehow that your words are putting you in danger. This transit can exert pressure over our thinking, and have us making fear-based judgement calls or speaking out of unconscious parts of ourselves. It may also be experienced as a meaningful turning point with something difficult from your past, that you are able to connect with differently in the present.

May 18

Sun ♉︎ Conjunct Uranus ♉︎, 00:25 27’18

This transit encourages radical change to how you are showing up in a material way. As the Sun makes its way through the final degrees of Taurus, its peace is disrupted by Uranus, which pushes for the freedom from embedded routine. What was released in the body/heart by this month’s lunar cycle has potentially inspired something new for exploration, or shown you a new aspect of yourself. This transit now asks, will you liberate it?

This is the final pass of the Sun over Uranus while it is in Taurus for nearly 80 years.

Mercury ♉︎ Square Mars ♌︎, 05:24 13’53

This transit brings frustration to your thoughts and conversations. People may just rub you the wrong way with their words today, and it is likely to feel like an attack. This transit is not patient, and has potential to disrupt travel as well. If you drive, it’s worth having an awareness of road rage (yours or other’s) and holding whether something is actually someone’s fault in mind.

May 20

Sun ♉︎ Sextile Saturn ♓︎, 10:24 29’38

Supportive and structured, Saturn can be harnessed to take material steps toward your self-awareness. This transit may feel a little like a grind to get going, but it is a taskmaster we could use.

Sun ♉︎ Enters Gemini ♊︎
